The First Day

Well it went very well. No one cried. In fact you were a delight. You were happy and smiling as usal. You met Miss Sarah and started to play with a Thomas The Tank Engine train set. You were fine.

When we went to leave you gave us both a hug and told us you loved us. Then you were gone. Mummy and I were just so proud of you.

We went for a coffee on the paseo Maritimo in Marbella. It was the first time I have been there without you since you were born. Grat Grat smiled and told mummy nd I that you would do fantastically well at school.

We picked you up at 1pm on the first day. You did not want to come home.

Keiv

We may be moving to the Ukraine. I am waiting for a job offer there. I will have to go for three months by myself. I don't think I can do it alone. Very little work in Spain at the moment.

First Day at School

Well, Friday will be your first day at school. You are going to Swans at the age of 3 years and 6 months.
Some people think that this is far too early. We will see how it goes. You will be in Miss Sarah's class.
Your uniform cost about the same as my first car but you do look very cute.

Sick again

I spent a miserable weekend in hospital with more stomach pains. Not DV this time, just food poisoning.

Matches

Well today you decided to light the gas fire. You went and got the matches (Goodness knows how) from a high shelf and the only reason you failed is you could not turn the gas on. The matches are now hidden beyond your intelligence.
Mummy and I were having a coffee in bed and we thought that as we could hear you stomping about that you could not get into any mischief, how wrong were we?

Hmmmm

I took you for a coffee on the beach. You sitting there with your white blond hair looking for all the world like a little angel. I had put your dummy (you only get this a night) into my pocket. As we were ordering I put your dummy on the table, quick as a flash you picked it up a stuffed it in your mouth.

I reached forward to take it out of your mouth and you said in a clear voice,'Daddy, don't touch my fucking dummy.' The whole cafe heard what you said and I thought I was going to blush to death. I pretty much slunk out of there feeling like the worst parent in the world.

New Pills

Trying some new blood pressure medication today. This one is looking like a winner. My crazy blood pressure is coming down. The doctor tells me that it is due in part to the new exercise routine I have been following for the last 6 weeks or so. I feel better.
The run that I do used to take me 56 minutes and I am now doing the same run in 39 minutes. This makes me feel good. Also very good for Penny, she has never been this fit in her life.
Some days I do the run twice just to push my limits a little.
